Carol of the Bells or the Ukrainian Bell Carol, is an old New Year Carol, based on a Schedryk or chant, and was performed using hand bells. This arrangement is for Piano.
Infant Holy, Infant Lowly is a Polish carol, a Koledy, which may date back to the 13th century. Its rhythm is likened to a polonaise, so loved by Chopin. This arrangement is for Violin using the 2 lowest strings only, with Piano accompaniment. Duration 1 minute.
Cantique de Noel, or O Holy Night. The setting of a poem by Cappeau which was written to celebrate the renovation of the Church organ in Roquemaure, on the west of the Rhone. Adolph Adam set it to music. This arrangement as an option to improvise, and is for unaccompanied Flute.
Still, Still, Still is a lovely Austrian carol. It is a lullaby and must be played as though rocking a cradle. The words of the carol refer to falling snow, the hushed world sleeping, and dreaming of joyous days to come. This arrangement is for Unaccompanied Clarinet.
