Description: Sarabande and Variations from Suite no. 4 in D minor. In turn majestic, powerful, nostalgic, this music has been used many times since it was used extensively in the film Barry Lyndon, directed by Stanley Kubrick. Also in the film of Les Miserables, and in the Levi Jeans advert. This was originally for keyboards but arranged here for Brass Ensemble of 2 trumpets in Bb, 1 trombone and 1 tuba.

George Frideric Handel was born on 23 February 1685 in Halle, Germany. However he spent the majority of his career in the UK becoming a naturalized British subject in 1726.
