Description: Watchmans Song, or Chant du gardien, written after a performance of Macbeth. A night watchman would ring the bell at midnight at the door of a prisoner condemned to death, to call him to his hanging. Quartet for Soprano or Alto Sax 1, Alto Sax 2, Tenor and Baritone Saxes.
