Recently Added Sheet Music – 9 November 2018 – Infant Holy, Infant Lowly

By | November 13, 2018

Good Morning

We have 3 new Christmas arrangements for you this week.  Two of which are already available on music scores for other instrumental arrangements as detailed below:

Frederic Chopin the Polish pianist loved the rhythm likened to polanaise and consequently made this carol very popular.

It was translated into English in 1920

Infant holy,
Infant lowly,
For His bed a cattle stall;
Oxen lowing,
Little knowing
Christ the Babe is Lord of all.
Swift are winging
Angels singing,
Noels ringing,
Tidings bringing,
Christ the Babe is Lord of all.

Flocks were sleeping,
Shepherds keeping
Vigil till the morning new,;
Saw the glory,
Heard the story,
Tidings of a Gospel true.
Thus rejoicing,
Free from sorrow,
Praises voicing,
Greet the morrow,
Christ the Babe was born for you!
