Can I make my own password?
You cannot make your own password. Please use the password that we have given you.
Do I use the same password for posting messages on the discussion board?
You will have to register separately with our discussion board to post messages.
What if I change my email address?
Please just contact us! Let us know the email address you used when you joined as well as your new email address.
Do you have a newsletter?
Yes, we send out a monthly newsletter to all members. The newsletter contains a handy reminder of your password as well as information about recent additions to our site. If you would prefer not to receive this, then just ask us to unsubscribe you from this service.
How often do you update the site with new pieces?
The site is regularly updated, often weekly. The front page shows the current number of digital files and the date of the most recent update. If you subscribe to our RSS news feed, you will always be the first to know when we have updated the site.
Can I use Scorch to transpose the music and print it out?
Unfortunately not. When hitting the "Transpose" button Scorch very often behaves badly, giving some strange errors which normally we would correct if we were transposing for you. Upside down slurs, note stems, articulations, triplets, hidden expression marks, badly spaced staves; these are all typical examples. For this reason we offer our members a transposition service (5 per year) for any of the works on this site.
How do I request a transposition of a piece already on the site?
Just contact us with the details.
Can I suggest new music for the site?
Requests from members are always welcome.
Do you welcome feedback about the site?
Yes, of course! If you have any problems we will take them seriously and we are always grateful for praise or constructive comments. Links to our contact details can be found across the site.
