Andrew lives in Dunedin, New Zealand and is currently attending High School. He has been composing since the age of ten, when he began learning Piano. He has also been singing since the age of six. He is currently learning the Oboe, while still continuing Singing and Piano, doing Examinations for them later this year. Andrew's interest in composition began in 1997 when he won the silver award in the Local Composing Competition. Andrew, now 15, frequently composes. Some of his works include a Trio (Flute, Oboe and Piano), a Piano Sonata and a Baroque Piece (2 Oboes, Bassoon & Harpsichord). He hopes after finishing High School to attend University and earn a degree in Composition and Computer Science.
